The District Conference 5/2-5/4

This year the District Conference will be held at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Resort - Lake Placid in New York.
Here is a sampling of the schedule of events:
Friday Night:
Margaritaville - "Parrot Head" Friday and Rotarian Idol Competition
Saturday Afternoon Activities Include:
Tour Olympic Training Facilities, Travel to the top of the Olympic Ski Jump, Be a member of a Bob Sled Team, Visit the Olympic Museum, Cruise Lake Placid, or Play Golf
Saturday Night:
Dinner and Dancing
Competition:
All Registrants will be randomly assigned to the Blue & Gold Teams, and there will be fun events occurring throughout the Conference
Plenary Sessions:
Olympic Stars will be in Attendance!
The Crowne Plaza Resort & Golf Club is adjacent to the Olympic Center in the heart of the world-famous Olympic village. From the Hotel's vantage point, above the quaint international shops and restaurants of Main Street, the Hotel offers breathtaking views of Lake Placid's lakes and the Adirondack Mountains including Whiteface Mountain.

- Ambassadorial Scholar, Group Study Exchange, and Rotary Foundation Projects
- International Exchange Students, 4 Way Test Speech Contest Winners
- Presentations on District Projects, Club Projects, and other Rotary Programs.
