Pittsfield Balloon Festival

Pittsfield Rotary had absolutely magnificent weather for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday event. The main attraction was the Hot Air Balloon Festival, but there were also Crafts booths, Games, Rides, a Major $30,000 fireworks display Saturday night, Helicopter Rides, Road Race (Sunday), Food, Entertainment...Balloon lift was scheduled dawn and dusk. Because of the winds aloft, there was no hot air balloon lift off either Friday or Saturday nights, but Sunday's balloonists were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the river and very light air. Your intrepid reporter was offered a ride by Pittsfield Rotary Club President, Donna Keeley and got some great photos.
